Halloween, Part 2

Keira & Claire's first social outing was to a kid-friendly Halloween party. As you can see, it made a big impression on them. (Thanks to Emily for taking the picture.)

The girls received Halloween socks as a party favor.

Halloween & Visitors from L.A.

Keira and Claire are all ready for Halloween. Here, Keira does her impression of Frankenstein's monster.

This weekend the girls showed off their costumes to their Auntie Karen, who took the red eye all the way from Los Angeles to visit them.

In addition, they had a recent surprise visit from Auntie Carla (not a blood relative, but might as well be), who also lives in L.A.

Bathtime for Keira

In the interest of good taste, we decided to forgo the typical "baby bath porn shot" here.

Coming home

Somehow we figured out how to operate the car seats, just in time to head for the nest. Not to brag, but we had to disappoint throngs of fans to make it out of the front door of the hospital with any reasonable speed.

..still working on my hat placement technique...

Britney taught us not to bring the baby in the front seat, no matter how hard the paparazzi were pressing us.

Once home, the babies celebrated with an ad hoc breakdancing throwdown.

Thanks very much to Jessica, who met the babies and made the 12x12 room more livable for its population.

Another welcome visit from Ann and Miles, who helped show us how to uncrease our brows and just enjoy the experience.

One morning Claire was brought to us from the nursery with a binky in her mouth. Her proud parents had not considered this technology before this moment.
