We love Halloween, but after three days of festivities, we are WORN OUT!

The Perfect Fall Day

While Mama was Out...

...things got silly!

Winter Coats

The unseasonably cold weather this past weekend gave us a chance to try out our winter coats.

The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day. . .

Should we watch some TV? Better yet, read a book. We un-shelved each one so we could take a look.


We found that the car could collide with a chair, and stopped to see if the mail was there.


Oh, look--what was this? The remote control! Banging into my head, would it make a hole?


We carried a washcloth from near to far, and even found time to learn CPR.


And lucky we were, finding no four-leaf clover, but--under the high chairs--a tasty leftover!


When the day was done, we sat back in our seats and relaxed as Mama brought out some good eats.

Halloween Costume Preview

Keira and Claire tried on their Halloween costumes a little early, and we thought you might like to see them.

Doing Fall Stuff

Yesterday we went up to Gardiner, NY, to see Jessica and "get our Autumn on."

The day began with a longish car ride.


But when we got there we got to meet a baby sheep,


and also a biting bunny. Beware, bunny: this BABY bites, too!


We had a picnic and picked apples (not pictured).



We tried unsuccessfully to get a great picture in the pumpkin patch.


Can you believe Reilly, pictured here, is exactly the same age as Claire and Keira?!

Photo Shoot

The girls have been the subject of Mama's photography almost since they were born, but last week we got a professional to photograph them. She blogs about the experience and shares some of the photos here. We can't wait to see the rest!

Mexican Restaurant

We went to a Mexican Restaurant while Oma was visiting. Claire enjoyed the fiesta. Keira, less so. Turned out she was getting a little bit sick and we didn't realize it until the next day--poor thing!
