Hanging Out at Oma and Papaji's

While in Canada, the girls had a great time with their Grandparents on the Sehdev side.

They also managed to get in the required amount of eating and sleeping.

International Jetsetters

Last week we traveled to Canada, and the girls did great on their first flight! (Mommy and Daddy did a pretty good job, too.) We took a ton of pictures on the trip, many of which will be posted here ASAP, but for now, we're gloating about our success with the travel itself.

Both babies looked at the safety instructions before takeoff, which is more than we can say for most adults.

Claire used the touchscreen inflight entertainment system.

Keira checked out the view from above.

The people at Air Canada were great. One of the flight attendants even held Keira at the gate while we re-assembled the double stroller.

When Babies Attack

When Mommy comes into the pen she has to watch out (and keep an eye on the camera). She is likely to get attacked by babies trying to climb all over her. This makes it difficult to take pictures and video.

In the Toy Box

"Transitional Object"

"In human childhood development, a transitional object is something, usually a physical object, which takes the place of the mother-child bond. Common examples include dolls, teddy bears or blankets." (from the Wikipedia article "transitional object")

We tried giving the girls cute and cuddly stuffed animals; however, it appears that Keira has chosen the label on her sheets as her transitional object to cuddle with as she goes to sleep!

Dinner Guests

Virender, Simren, and Ruby (not pictured) came for dinner on Friday.
