Welcome to the World!

We are thrilled to welcome Claire Evelyn Sehdeva (a.k.a. "Baby A") and Keira Sage Sehdeva (a.k.a. "Baby B"), born on September 26th at 1:22 pm and 1:24 pm, respectively. Here are some of our first pictures!!!

More 3D of Baby A

We got some pretty good pictures of Baby A today! (Baby B remains more of a mystery, although pretty soon she'll be out and unable to escape the camera.)



This last picture is more difficult to decipher, but notice the hand and which finger she's holding up. It seems that Baby A has some attitude!



Both babies weigh 5 lbs 14 oz, so, yes, I am carrying almost 12 pounds of baby at this point, but it won't be much longer now!

Deadline

Baby A and Baby B WILL be born no later than September 26th. That's the deadline... no extensions.

No News Is Good News

Baby A and Baby B have not been born yet, which is good. While I've been confined to the couch, they've had a chance to grow, and are now approximately 5 lbs 3 oz and 5 lbs 4 oz, which means I'm carrying over 10 lbs of baby in my 5'4'' body! When I went to the doctor on Thursday, one of the nurses whom I'd never seen before took one look at me and said, "You're having twins, aren't you?"

Older Sibling Jealousy?

I thought Baby A and Baby B's older sister was unable to get into their cribs, where we are storing a bunch of stuff (including a car seat). Guess I was wrong!

3D Face of Baby A

Baby A and Baby B (especially Baby B) are a little camera shy. However, we were able to get a 3D image of Baby A's face the other day. The lips are pretty easy to see near the bottom right of the image, and above that the nose and eyes, which are kind of mushy looking.

Cribs

We have been working on setting up the nursery for the babies. Elephants are featured.
