Winter Coats
The unseasonably cold weather this past weekend gave us a chance to try out our winter coats.

The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day. . .
Should we watch some TV? Better yet, read a book. We un-shelved each one so we could take a look.
We found that the car could collide with a chair, and stopped to see if the mail was there.
Oh, look--what was this? The remote control! Banging into my head, would it make a hole?
We carried a washcloth from near to far, and even found time to learn CPR.
And lucky we were, finding no four-leaf clover, but--under the high chairs--a tasty leftover!
When the day was done, we sat back in our seats and relaxed as Mama brought out some good eats.
