Day in Brooklyn

Beer Island

Some people go to the Caribbean, others to Bermuda... Our island getaway... BEER Island!

Beer Island is a bar in Brooklyn and not actually and island. We went there to spend some time with Jessica before her big move.


At first, Keira was not so sure about Beer Island.


But Claire was totally into it.


Both babies enjoyed socializing and getting sand in their diapers.



As the sun set and the rain began, we headed away from the island and back over the bridge to Westchester.

At the Cafe

On Memorial Day Weekend, Claire and Keira met Jake, who is a little over 4 months old, and Jake's parents, Kate and Brian.


We went to a Russian cafe on Brighton Beach in Brooklyn.


Claire spilled beer on herself.

Jessica and Jim joined us as well. Keira was fascinated by Jim, despite his babyphobia.

Easter Fun

No... Sleep.. 'Til Brooklyyyyyn!

For the first time ever, the girls left Westchester county to visit our friends Jess & Jim in Brooklyn. Actually, they slept the entire way there, some while there, and the entire way back. At home later that night... not so much.
