Mother/Daughter Pictures

Mommy always complains that there are not enough pictures of her with Claire and Keira (because she takes most of the pictures). Recently, she had to take matters into her own hands.

This is not a joke. He really did work the entire day from the bathroom.

Keira is Awesome

Keira was born second, and 1 ounce smaller than her sister, although she quickly surpassed her in weight. She has a healthy appetite.


Keira is very independent. She can amuse herself for a long time just examining her feet and making shrieking noises.

Keira learned to laugh early. Her laugh occurs both on the inhale and on the exhale.

Keira is awesome!

Claire is Awesome

Claire is our first born (by 2 minutes), although she is smaller than her sister. She is a light eater.


Claire loves people and loves to be held. She can be a bit of a diva, crying when she's not getting enough attention.

Claire can move! She doesn't crawl yet, but she is an expert at flipping over, rolling, and "bridging."

Claire is awesome!

Botanical Garden

On Presidents' Day weekend, we had a family outing to the Bronx Botanical Gardens. We spent most of the time enjoying the indoor attractions, and will definitely return in the spring.

Video Retrospective

We have been shooting short videos of the girls literally ever since they were born, but we haven't been so good about uploading and posting them... until now! Here are some older videos, looking back at the early days of Keira & Claire in the hospital and when they first came home.

The first one was taken (illegally, I think) in the delivery room. You may not want to look too closely at the floor.

Dressing a baby was a huge production, both because of Mommy's lack of skill and baby's lack of patience (warning, this one is long).

Valentine Photo Shoot

Keira and Claire posed in their Valentine outfits to make a Valentine to email to their Grandparents and Aunties.





As you can see from the video, they had a great time, though they didn't always stay "on task."

Hands

Once in a while, the girls hold hands. It is so cute!


More often, they try to eat their own and each other's hands.
