Music Class

On Saturdays, the girls participate in a music class at a local nursing home, where they have made many friends. They like to try out the instruments, finding creative ways of using them that often involve putting them in their mouths.

Baby Car

At age 10 months, Keira and Claire have their own car. Someone should tell Claire to put her coffee down so she can keep both hands on the wheel!

Claire & Keira Visit the Thomas Paine Cottage

When Grandma and Grandpa were visiting this past weekend, we visited one of New Rochelle's historical landmarks, the Thomas Paine Cottage.


Keira even got to have her picture taken with Thomas Paine.

Visit with Karen & Ali

The girls had a busy weekend. On Saturday they went to the Metropolitan Museum to take in some art.



It was a bit much for Keira, who wasn't feeling so well when we got back home. Luckily there were kind people to comfort her.


Sunday we hung out in a park with Karen and Ali, who had come to visit from Texas.

Alongside many honors and titles (crawler, self-feeder), Keira is making a name for herself as a budding film director. In this short video piece, she uses abstract images and the angst-ridden cries of her twin sister to react against the lighthearted emotional emphasis prevalent in the more traditional films of her mother.

Cape Cod

This past weekend we traveled to Cape Cod, where Claire and Keira hung out with friends, old and new.
