Typical Behavior

It's nice to look back at videos of when the girls were younger just to remember what they were like. What, at the time, was just typical behavior is now interesting because they have changed so much. So here's an attempt to document today's typical behavior!

Getting Ready for Christmas

While Mama was Out...

...things got silly!

With Apologies to Dr. Seuss

The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So we sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day. . .

Should we watch some TV? Better yet, read a book. We un-shelved each one so we could take a look.


We found that the car could collide with a chair, and stopped to see if the mail was there.


Oh, look--what was this? The remote control! Banging into my head, would it make a hole?


We carried a washcloth from near to far, and even found time to learn CPR.


And lucky we were, finding no four-leaf clover, but--under the high chairs--a tasty leftover!


When the day was done, we sat back in our seats and relaxed as Mama brought out some good eats.

Claire and Keira are not quite walking on their own yet, but with the help of their baby cars, they get around indoors and out!

Pool

While the summer weather lasted, we managed to get in a dip in the pool.

What We Do Best

As Claire and Keira grow, it is fascinating to see what each girl focuses on. Claire seems to have developed her own language, whereas Keira is constantly exploring physical objects as if trying to figure out how they work.

Baby Car

At age 10 months, Keira and Claire have their own car. Someone should tell Claire to put her coffee down so she can keep both hands on the wheel!

Independence Day

Claire and Keira may not have stayed up late enough to watch fireworks, but they certainly dressed appropriately for the holiday.
